In January, Pierre Thiry joined the BestValue team. Trained in financial techniques and business transfer advisory, this Liège native, passionate about SMEs and their development, was hired for his strong commercial skills and initiative, as well as his alignment with the values of pragmatism, integrity, and rigor—three core principles at BestValue. Here are three questions for the company’s newest recruit.
Why did you choose to work with BestValue?
Before considering a job change, I asked myself what direction I wanted to take in my career. After some thought, what I hoped for was the opportunity to invest myself in a company that would allow me to work on both the development of the company itself and its core business. BestValue is a growing company that precisely meets these two conditions. Additionally, I find values that are important to me within the company. So, when Ianis, Antoine, and Jean-Luc offered me the chance to join their team, I didn’t hesitate for long!
Why the business transfer sector?
For me, the human aspect of work is essential. As advisors, we spend many hours with buyers and sellers. Over time and through conversations, we learn their stories, the events that shaped them and brought them to where they are today. We also advise them in moments of doubt and hesitation. In the end, we formed very strong connections. BestValue places great importance on maintaining and nurturing this human aspect. This is also what motivated me to join the company.
What do you expect from your work at BestValue?
For me, BestValue represents a unique opportunity to engage in a sector that I am passionate about. It is also the perfect combination of rigor, flexibility, and development. Joining BestValue ensures not only professional fulfillment but also personal growth. And that’s priceless!
