BestValue is pleased to announce the sale of Entreprise de Construction Et de Montage (ECEM) to Duchêne, a subsidiary of the Eiffage Benelux group.
Founded in 1987, the family-owned ECEM initially specialized in the construction of agricultural and industrial halls. Ideally located near the SPI industrial zone in Tinlot, the company has since expanded its activities into four key areas: steel trading, hardware, metal construction, and surface treatments. With a client base consisting of both individuals and businesses, ECEM has built a strong commercial relationship with Sodemat, which has become one of its main customers. As a subsidiary of the Eiffage Group, Sodemat later facilitated the connection between the group and ECEM.
On the buyer’s side, Duchêne, also a subsidiary of Eiffage Benelux, specializes in building construction, civil engineering, carpentry, and railway electrification. With total operations exceeding €170 million and a workforce of over 450 employees, Duchêne aims to continue its growth and strengthen its presence in the Walloon market. The company plans to achieve this by developing a wood structure and metal construction workshop within ECEM’s facilities.
We are proud to have supported ECEM’s shareholders throughout the entire sale process, from valuation to the successful completion of the transaction.
